   regarding circles through viewfinder, I had the same problem and brought it for repair. They replaced the screen(under warrantee).

   "Just picked up the new 50D this week. I noticed faint dark circles through the viewfinder with and without lenses in place. Anyone else have the same problem?" Mine has the same problem. I don't know if it is normal. Please, tell me if someone answer.

   This camera has some serious flaws. It applies way to much noise reduction, even in RAW. The files look like paintings. I even turned off noise reduction settings, both in camera and in the software. I returned mine to BHPhoto and bought a 40D.........detail, oh glorious detail!! The 40D is the better of the two......by a mile!!

   Just picked up the new 50D this week. I noticed faint dark circles through the viewfinder with and without lenses in place. Anyone else have the same problem?
