This Article Features Photo Zoom

SDXC And Eye-Fi SD Card Compatibility
The T3i accepts the new high-capacity SDXC memory cards. It also can use Eye-Fi SD cards, which incorporate a Wi-Fi transmitter and antenna for wireless high-speed transmission of images.
A+ Mode
A new A+ mode analyzes colors, brightness, contrast, movement and more, the camera automatically adjusting Picture Style parameters accordingly—this in addition to adjusting focus, exposure, white balance and Auto Lighting Optimizer.

Vari-Angle, Wide-Screen LCD
New to the Rebel line is the T3i’s Vari-angle 3-inch, 1,040,000-dot LCD monitor with a 3:2 aspect ratio that matches that of the still images and better matches the 16:9 ratio of HD video. It’s especially nice for high- and low-angle live-view macro shots.
Better For Beginners
A new Feature Guide features a Quick Settings Screen that includes detailed descriptions of camera settings, plus easy-to-understand directions on how to use particular settings. The Basic + function helps users make appropriate camera adjustments for more creative control.
