The tent is rain-tested to withstand 1,200 inches of rain in 24 hours. Two side doors for easy access and two dry entry vestibules keep the rain out and stow gear. Roof prisms with phase-corrected coating deliver images with sharp detail and high contrast, even in low-light conditions. The sturdy aluminum bodies, which come in compact or full-sized versions, are coated with a new black rubber material for a comfortable, sure grip. They’re also waterproof down to about 10 feet.
