On an amazing afternoon at Mt Evans, we were blessed with over 40 white mountain goats along the roadside. We sat and watched for hours, as the herd moved along the tundra. This one just happened to take a break.

these sheep live on the mountainside for the whole summer. During the winter they go down into the valley. Like this they maintain the Swiss alm's (grass slopes).
