This peacock was doing a mating display for females that were directly behind me when I was taking the picture.
This was an image that lasted for only about an hour. The sun rose up and melted the image away. Good timing!

I was on a boat taking the bayou cruise when I noticed the boat's wake created a pattern in the reflection similar to a peacock feather. I like how the blue color deepens to almost black.
