Spouting HornIncoming surf is funneled through an opening in the dead coral forming the beachhead. The resultant water spout, lit by the late afternoon sun, generates an arc of spray with a rainbow. The Swamp LivesThe Swamp as it awakes up the Spring Twilight TrianglesAt twilight on Ruby Beach, with the last rays of the sun augmented by the rising moon illuminating layers of sea stacks and rocks, triangles are formed with the surf rushing around the bases of the rocks. Of Fire And WaterHeart Lake reflects an amazing sunset as Mt. Shasta shines in the distance.
