Teide is the highest mountain, a volcano, in Spain and is located in the Canary Islands, standing imposingly in the center of the island Tenerife. This is the volcano that formed the island and remains active, last erupting in the early 20th century.

By now most recognize the unique sandstone formations of The Wave. However, I have not seened it photographed from this angle. And the clouds really cooperated.
Balanced Rock is one of the most iconic landmarks at Arches National Park. A full moon created a nice silhouette of the rock, while the moving clouds added interest. (33 seconds, iso 320, f/3.5, 18mm)
It had been raining all day, but the clouds began to clear just before sunset. In this shot, the arch behind me (not pictured) was casting a perfect shadow around this lone tree, and the storm clouds added to the drama of the scene.
