The sun just happened to peak through the fog to light up the grasses illuminating them as though they were lit from within.

The Waterfront Trail is a nature trail that winds along the waters edge of the northern shore of Eagle Harbor. It passes through private marinas and Waterfront Park.
I thought this guy looked awesome on these purple flowers. His turquoise eyes really popped. They don't always sit long enough for a good close up, but I am thankful for patience on this one.
This photograph was taken in late summer on Chincoteague Island, off the coast of Virginia. The sun was setting, and at exactly the right angle I was able to capture it shining through the empty window of an abandoned beach shack on the island.
