Took this photo in early spring 2010 on my weekend in one of the most wonderful places in New York. It was very early in the morning and i decided to wake up and go out there and wait for the wonder to happen.
Closing out a day of wandering around the Lamar Valley, we returned to the Northern extrance to the park and caught this lovely, early spring sunset.

Driving past an old boat yard, I noticed these 2 birds swimming in the peace of the back water. I just stopped and shot out the window of my car.
Storm with dramatic clouds hover over an oak tree that stands alone in an Illinois meadow. Although the tree was in sunlight, the rain was falling all around it. I had to keep my hand over the lens to prevent it from getting wet!
I captured this abstract image of the Michigan forest during autumn by panning the camera while using a slow shutter speed (0.3 seconds). The Fall colors in northern Michigan provide endless photo opportunities.
