Rainbow Over Palouse

An unexpected ending to a beautiful day in the Palouse. While heading up to Steptoe Butte for a sunset shoot, a rain cloud hung over the eastern valley. As I got halfway up the butte a brilliant rainbow appeared opposite the setting sun.
