Foogy day on the parkway rewarded us w/ a sunset to remember.

Mother grizzly and her first year cub. A brief glimpse of a mother strengthening the bond with her cub with a kiss, and the warm evening sun came out to light the scene for just a brief moment (it is a rainforest).

Desert Light

Heavy winter rainfall left water pockets in the Badwater salt flats which were unusually reflective and captured the glow of sunset.

Hughes River Boulders

This picture was taken on the Nicholson Hollow Trail in Shenandoah National Park, while crossing the Hughes River which follows the trail. I was attracted to the one white tree sticking up, with no branches or leaves.

Mammoth Hot Springs

A thunder storm was approaching Yellowstone from North in Montana. I was able to shoot this before sudden downpour. This is a great location to also see elk in a herd. (Near the north entrance to Yellowsotne National Park)

A Moment Of Tension

This photo was taken at sunset in Yellowstone National Park. The bison were in mating season and the males were extremely aggressive. This man is lucky to have made it out unscathed.
