Powerful north winds push clouds across Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline at dusk. The day had been long with a great deal of sand in my eyes; but I paused briefly at dusk for this one last picture.

This shot was taken as the sun was starting to go down so the mountains have a beautiful contrast between light and shadow. The trees are glowing in the evening light and the reflection in the water is wonderful.
Mt. Rainier is one of the most iconic photo spots, no matter what season. This aerial image shows the natural ridge lines leading to the mountain as the sun was setting. Clouds blanket the lowlands.
First and hopefully not last trip to Kauai. It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I know you aren't supposed to cut am image in half with the horizon, but it works for me here.
