Last spring in Ouray, CO was an amazing time to visit because there had been rainfall almost every evening. In this photo what captured my attention was the slate creek bed, and how smoothly the water was flowing in a classic peaceful waterfall....
This shot was actually taken very close to noon, with the sun high in the sky, but the shadows the plants and hoodoos cast were very desirable for this shot.
