Sun & Sky
While flying back home to south Florida, I noticed some distant thunderstorms at sunset just off shore off of Sanibel Island.
The Newport Pier which is in the process of being torn down, looked surreal one morning at sunrise as I photographed it.
I walked out on a frozen lake El Dorado to take this picture. Ice was at least 5" thick. f/22, 1/5 sec, 3200 ISO (did not realize untill afterwards that I had ISO on auto).
I saw this awesome Halo Rainbow! Have never seen anything like it! I felt like God's presence was surrounding all of us.
Taken at Reddi Point Preserve right on the river, it was a windy, grey day. The river looked awful without the sunlight when shooting in color. I switched to black and white and caught the sky opening up just in time to take this shot.

I noticed this scene when we stopped at a little roadside restaurant facing the Caldera. I shot a whole roll, but for this one the boat was just in the right place ad the sun was just about to sink in the low clouds
Otter Cliff is located along the Park Loop Road in Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island, ME. It is truly beautiful and is an amazing location to greet a new day.
