While photographing a friends garden I looked down into a cluster of Hens and Chickens and saw a small beetle climbing about. I watched it for sometime working so hard to climb something so small, before finally backing under a leaf to take a rest.

This is a lightly processed HDR panorama of one of the most incredible sunsets I have ever watched. I am incredibly happy with how this shot turned out. Yet, humbly I will admit that it definitely doesn't do justice to actually being there.
You can see the sand being blown around just a little bit in this shot. I won't lie, this is nothing compared to the amount of sand in the sky when I got up to the top. Crazy stuff. I really did enjoy myself though!
