The skies over the Yosemite Valley were flat and overcast from Tunnel View, so I turned my attention to the tunnel itself, and its incredible display of icicles.

Passiflora incarneta is a vine, native to Florida. Called Maypop, it has large, intricate flowers with prominent styles and stamens. One of the hardiest species of passionflower, it is a common wildflower in the southern United States.
