On a recent trip to New England (for business) I decided to take a break and decompress...which usually inludes a camera in my hand. I found some great shots on a random, rocky beach in Cape Cod.

The magnatude of the rocks and mountains command respect when compared to the silhouettes of the hikers on the ridge. Apparent is the reward, as well as the risk, of taking the high road.

Fungi are always abundant in the forests in Oregon and vary by the season. This fly just happened to land as I took the shot, and it made for an interesting photo.
Traveling down a quiet backcountry road, we noticed a creek meandering behind the treelined roadway. We got out of the car and walked a ways and found this small waterfall. It made a great photo op.
