Photo Details

  • Title: Snacking Cedar Waxwing
  • State/Province/Region: Washington
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Cheney
  • Nearest Town: Cheney
  • Brief Directions: Cheney is outside of Spokane, Washington and although rural, is easy to find. There are many dirt roads, hidden marshes, and lost ponds filled with wildlife that few know about. For that reason, I find the area beautiful, full of life, and one of the best places around to take photographs.
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Gear: Canon Rebel Xt

  1. The day before leaving for my mama's funeral, these cedar waxwings paid a surprise visit. In the years that I had lived there, they never stopped before, so this visit meant something special to me. No tripod or filters were used and my Canon Rebel xti was the camera I used.
