  • Description: Waiting in thick pea soup morning fog at Upper Wood Lake, when just as the sun was breaking behind Mt.Shaksan and the fog started to lift, this opportunity presented itself.
  • Brief Directions: From Seattle N. on Interstate 5 to Bellingham go E. on Hwy 542 to the end.
  • Notes: The Northwest in elevations has some of the most spetacular autumn displays with lessening crowds and more wildlife opportunities as well as landscape pics.
