  • Description: This image was captured just after sunset on slow shutter speed for the "silky" water effect at Onslow Beach at Camp Lejeune, NC. Camp Lejeune is an active US Marine Corps Base so access is controlled through the Main Gate located on Route 24E. The fishing pier was closed after years of damage from coastal storms and hurricanes, but the beach area is still fantastic.

  • Gear: Pentax K200D on tripod; 18-55mm lens with a Tiffen Graduated Neutral Density Filter
