Photo Details

  • Title: Morning Reflections
  • State/Province/Region: California
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Marin County - Point Reyes National Seashore
  • Nearest Town: Nicasio
  • Description: Here is an image from Marin County, Ca. The country side that borders the Marin and Sonoma County is very photogenic and especially so in the early morning. This is a shot of the pond at the Marin Cheese company. During the day this pond is bustling with folks sharing a picnic lunch, but in the morning the pond is calm and not a soul is around.
  • Brief Directions: From the small town of Nicasio go NW on Nicasio Valley Rd until it junctions with Point Reyes Petaluma Road. Go NE until you reach the pond at the cheese factory.
  • Notes:
  • Best Season: Winter
  • Gear: Nikon D300 / Nikkor 18-200
