Brief Directions: Out of Bishop, head due west to any trailhead, and start hiking. This location was a few miles off trail, in a infrequently visited basin.

Description: I spend way too much time dreaming about stunning granite peaks of the high sierra, especially after summers like the last where frequent evening storms gave way to heavenly light. This evening was just like that, with fiery explosions happening all around me, in all directions, at the same time. It was one of the most spectacular light shows I have ever seen!
