Brief Directions: From Yarmouth, along Route #1 (Evangaline Trail) in South Western Nova Scotia you will find this spot close to the road. About 1.5 miles from the village of Meteghan in Digby County in the district of Clare.
Best Season: Summer
Description: Smuggler's cove lies just South West of the small French Acadian fishing village of Meteghan on what is known as the French Shore of South Western Nova Scotia. It is said that Rum Runners used this place to off load contraband Rum during the days of prohibition back in the 1930's. Spectacular sunsets often grace the skies of the Fundy shore and this evening I was not disappointing.
