One of the more spectacular sunsets I've seen recently occurred while I was shooting at my favorite beach in Santa Cruz. On this night there was an extremely low tide which allowed me to get to a part of the beach I'd never seen before. Once I found the composition I wanted I waited for a wave to come up and wrap around the rocks. But the ocean did not want to cooperate and I was getting a bit antsy because the light was really becoming amazing. Finally, just as I was about to move a bit closer to the water, a single wave came up around the rocks and allowed me to capture the watery streaks I love so much.
