  • Description: While backpacking the entire Pacific Crest Trail this spring fall and summer I took this photo. I was 60 miles from the end of my 2663 mile hike when I got slammed with snow, most of the time I couldn't see much further than 10 feet in front of me, I had no idea of the dramatic landscape around me. Finally the storm let up and gave me a peak at the surroundings.
