Table Mountain from the New Harbor. Rising 3,000 feet above sea level this well recognized landscape never fails to fascinate and attract photographers, tourist and locals alike.
September 2006, Visited the Cape Town New Harbor for both the photo op and an anniversary meal at one of the harbor front Restaurants. Wonderful Chateaubriand and wine for two, under $50. The sunset and harbor activity offered many photo opportunities. Recommend visiting in a group to avoid possible problems. Cable car to the top of the mountain provides a panoramic view of the city, Table Bay and south toward the Cape of Good Hope. Not recommended for the faint of heart or those fearing heights.
