Muir Woods National Monument is one of the few reaminaing rewood forests left in the world. As I walked through this very pristine and unique place I felt as though I was traveling through another world. A world where the peaceful sounds of nature surrounds you. The orchestra of birds and the drumming of the stream flowing over smooth river stones. The river of light flowing through the canopy and around the trunks. The colors of fire and nature residing as one, helping one another against the essence of time growing to live through the ages.
