Description: In the game parks of Uganda one does see lions, but it is a rare treat. When seen, they are often far away, sleeping in the shade of a bush. To find lions in full sun, with relatively low light, is an ecstatic moment for a photographer. For a whole family to seem to be “posing” for the family portrait is a miracle. It is particularly inspirational to see this family and know their home, Murchison Falls National Park, is being explored for oil drilling.
