Description: The spectacles caiman is a species of Least Concern due to its success in its ecological niche. Its numbers are increasing. Caimen grow to be about 6 feet in length, much smaller than its cousins the crocodile and American Alligator. This mother with young was found in Tortuguero National Park on the east coast of Costa Rica.
