Description: Just outside of the Eastern Sierra mountains lies an ancient place honoring the beauty of the world. Hundreds of years ago humans carved petrogylphs into this rock, which faces both the sky and mountains and thus this place gets its name: "Sky Rock". I arrived extremely early to ensure I found this place and waited in hopes of a beautiful sunset. Unfortunately the sunset never happened and I returned at night, hoping to do star-trails. Again, mother nature tried to interfere but instead created silver hairs to this ancient place, caused by the stars moving behind clouds. What an amazing place this is!
