This majestic eagle was enjoying a meal when this Common raven came down to hassle the eagle. The ravens are quite mischievous and like to pull the tails of the eagles. I love the effect of the raven looking larger than the eagle which of course it was not.

Description

Northern Michigan is home to a very healthy population of bald eagles. A local farmer has diligently for the past 25 years put out carrion to supplement the eagles winter diet. My hussband, Michael, and I are priveged to have a blind out in the field for the past eight winter in order to film and photograph the eagles up close and personal. We want to promote Michigan's abundant and diverse wildlife that is readily available to photographers.
