mammoth hot springs towards norris geyser basin Yellowstone national park, Wyoming
Taken very early in the morning (4:50am). This shot is handheld and used an aperture of f/9 and a shutter speed of 160 to give some depth of field.
It's late spring/ early summer. The mornings are still freezing cold as it was during this scene. Cold enough to give that electric feeling of freezing. In this image you can see electric peak and bunsen peak in the background. While shooting the location I was treated to the sound of elk bugling back and forth across the waters while watching the light streak over both peaks.
