Located in the Tracy Arm Ford Terror wilderness area. Head south of Juneau down Stephen Passage and take a left into the entrance of the Endicott Arm and then continue on for another 35 miles.
The base of the ancient Dawes glacier meets the salt water of Endicott Arm in a timeless march forward. This ice was frozen long before any pollutants entered the water. Seagulls feed on small candle fish in the nutrient rich glacial water. Overcast days really bring out the deep blues of the pure ice.
