  • Brief Directions: From Mammoth Lakes, Ca take Minaret Road down to the Agnew Meadows trailhead. Follow either the High Trail or the River Trail for roughly 9 miles
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Description: After three days of fierce 70+ mph wind gust and a constant storm with no unique lighting I was lucky enough to get this display of light the morning that I was hiking out. You can see the strong wind gusts on the texture of the lake. In the background is Mt. Banner shrouded in the storm clouds.
