• Description: While on the Big Island for a week i happened to be there the one week that it was raining EVERYWHERE on the island. No matter where i went the rain was there, torrential downpours were all that i could find. With now sun to provide dramatic light i couldn’t shoot anything but macros. As the end of my time on the island drew ever closer i had almost lost all hope. But a chance trip to the Kona side to visit a friend turned out to be the right call. On my last day in Kona while on a white sand beach with crystal clear waters the sun finally broke through for all of 30-40 minutes before rain overtook us. Without wasting anytime my friend and i took to the water to follow some turtles that were in the water……..this was one of them :)
