  • Title: Another World
  • State/Province/Region: California
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Town: Lee Vining
  • Description: I live near Mono Lake and on this second day of the new year in 2012 there were lenticular clouds all over the valley so I decided to take a drive to Mono for the sunset. I was not disappointed... Things got very grey and there was no color at all, then all of a sudden on the east horizon a small glow of red/pink began and exploded into this incredible sunset. There were several photographers there and we were all so excited at what we had just witnessed.
  • Brief Directions: Off Hwy 395 near Lee Vining, CA
  • Notes:
  • Best Season: Spring
  • Gear: NIkon D700, Nikkor 24-120mm, Circular Polarizer, Oben Tripod
