Photo Details

  • Title: The Pitch Of The Bearing Tree
  • State/Province/Region: Montana
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: NW MT
  • Description: I feel the lighting is excellent. The position of the nails is unique; there is a great shadow effect. I like the way the pitch is over laid on the tree bark and on the sign. There seems to be a comical contrast between what the wording on the bottom sign and how the tree ignores this and spills the pitch over this sign.
  • Best Season: Winter
