  • Description: In Everett, WA there is a cute little place along the Snohomish River called Langus Riverfront Park. It's in a strange area nearby a water treatment plant, but if you drive past the park and through the plant's property you actually come out into a really pretty area called Spencer Island Park. It's a nice, relaxing place to walk around. It's a bit of a foresty feel, but in a fairly flat area, so you can get some pretty views even if you aren't in the mood for an all-day hike. I arrived there just before sunset and while the sun was way off to my left, I was in love with the colors popping through in front of me.
