  • Description: "Typical" sunset from our deck looking out over foothills into the Central Valley.
  • Brief Directions: Hwy 80 east of Auburn, Ca. in the Sierra Nevada Foothills
  • Notes: We have a wonderful western view across the Central valley and are blessed with with regularly spectacular sunsets. This particular evening a storm had just cleared and I happened to walk out just as the sun was slipping below the horizon.
  • Best Season: Winter
