Photo Details

  • Title: Sunrise At Lake Moraine
  • State/Province/Region: Alberta
  • Country: Canada
  • Description: This was an early morning long exposure with multiple stacked filters from an area looking out over Lake Moraine. As you can see the sun has not quite made it over the mountains by no means but it still gave the sky and the ridges some nice color. The lake is that blue in the morning and as the day progresses it will turn an awesome emerald green color. The reason it is this color is because it is fed from a nearby glacier. I hope you guys enjoy this. The pic IMO does not do it justice. This is probably one of the most gorgeous, if no the most gorgeous sunrise I haver ever witnessed.
  • Best Season: Summer
  • Gear: Canon Digital Rebel XTi; Canon 10-22UWA lens; B+W filters, SLIK Tripod and head...
