  • Title: Serenity
  • State/Province/Region: Oregon
  • Country: United States
  • Nearest Area: Elephant Rock
  • Nearest Town: Bandon
  • Description: As the tide flows back out to sea, the shoreline leading to Elephant Rock in Bandon, Oregon is wet with a thin layer of sea water, creating the perfect setting for brilliant reflections upon the sand. The sky, filled with clouds warning of the oncoming storm, is lit up with yellows, blues and pinks as the sun sets beyond the horizon, giving the reflective shoreline a blast of color. Scattered amongst the waves of the ocean, we see silhouetted sea stacks, left over from a time long forgotten, still standing today, as they will be when today is lost to distant reminiscences and eventually vanishes from memory all together.
  • Brief Directions: When entering Bandon, Oregon from Hwy 101, you'll soon reach Beach Loop. Follow Beach Loop to Wayside and take the stairs down to Elephant Rock!
  • Notes: Dress warm!
