- Description: This is one of my favorite images ever. This once in a lifetime bloom of prairie primrose after an unusually wet spring in Northeastern Colorado was showcased by multihued thunderheads. The birds were singing and the flowers smelled wonderful. Only the cactus in my knee while I photographed reminded me I wasn't quite in heaven.
