The sky was devoid of heavy clouds that are ominous of impending storms. When I arrived and set up to expose this image, rain clouds rolled in and drenched me and my gear. I packed up and waited out the storm. My diligence was rewarded a few hours later when the clouds parted for a few minutes. I worked quickly as more storm clouds approached the Big Sur coast. When the sun illuminated McWay Falls I knew I had a keeper!
