Description: Lake Caliraya - located in Laguna, Philippines. It is 1,200 feet above sea level, with reddish topsoil, strong winds, cloud-filled skies It started in 1939 by US Army Chief of Engineers in the Philippines Major General Hugh J. Casey with the approval of Philippine Commonwealth President Manuel L. Quezon. This was created for providing large reservoir of water storage. It was also designed as an earth dam generating 40,000 horsepower of electricity. This was shot using a b+w 093nm infrared filter that produces monochrome images.
