I decided to take the drive up to Reflection Lake to scout the area for a sunrise shot the following morning. I didn't want to try to find my way around in the early morning darkness, so I drove up the hill from the little Inn we were staying after dinner. The sky was almost clear when I first arrived. I knew I was about 2 weeks too early for wildflowers, but was not expecting to see so much snow on the ground. As I was checking out the view, clouds started to roll in from behind me, but was staying clear to the west. I decided to set up my gear.... and before I knew it this amazing sunset unfolded pretty quickly! 3 vertical images stitched together to make a Pano.
