Description: A rustle in the bushes over my left shoulder got the attention of this mother grizzly. Two cubs were playing off camera right. She stood up to better see the giant male that had walked up behind me and they scurried off to avoid any perceived conflict over any fishing rights that Papa Bear might feel entitled to. It was late Fall and the foliage was in its full colors; a warm and beautiful day on the Katmai Peninsula.
