• Description: Our hearts sank as we crested Alpine Pass in the Wind River Range, Wyoming. After a long, but always amazing day in the Winds and after hiking up this remote pass, what we saw was amazingly beautiful, but we first had to make it all the way down the back side and find a campsite above tree line and in a boulder field. Everything turned out well and it was one of the best trips Ive had back there.
