Description: These young owls were begining to fly but still too young to hunt so they were waiting for thier parents to bring them dinner. I was sitting and waiting for them to fly to a rock I thought they would come to and when it began to get dark I decided to call it a night and go home. I gathered up my stuff and started down the path when I saw them sitting on a rock that had been behind me. They had been sitting and watching me, while I sat and waited for them to show up. I was very carefull about setting up my tripod etc. again and was able to get a few shots before the light was too far gone.
Gear: Canon EOS Mark 2 and Tamron 200-500mm zoom lens
