  • Description: The morning after a rare snowfall in Tucson and the surrounding desert, I went to Sabino Canyon before sunrise to photograph the drops of water I knew would form as the snow and ice started melting. This silhouette is one of my favorite photographs from that morning (February 21, 2013).
