In Death Valley National Park, go to Texas Springs Campground.
I was fascinated by the variety of colors and shapes in the desert geology surrounding the Texas Springs Campground in Death Valley and had scouted out some locations earlier in the day. Returning to the campground after a busy day, I saw a beautiful sunset developing in the storm clouds that were blowing in. I quickly grabbed my gear and raced to the top of a knoll, where I was able to capture this colorful moment.
