Notes

I had driven outside of the park and then back inside on a dirt road. The elevation is much lower and the area is very dry and hot. The only area in Yellowstone where you can find almost desert like conditions. I was walking around in an area close to a small stream bed that no longer held water.

Description

While looking for rattlesnakes, I hear a noise nearby in a juniper.I looked up and spotted these two owlets. I had to back away as I had too much lens.
